Another dies of food poisoning in Quang Tri

Following the death of a person who had eaten infected pork, another person died in Quang Tri Province last Sunday night, six days after eating the same pork. 

The death of the second victim was confirmed on Monday morning by Pham Van Kien, chairman of Trieu Long Commune in Trieu Phong District, where the two victims had lived. 

On April 25, the two ate the meat of a pig that had died from a disease, according to their relatives.

Four day later on April 29, they developed food poisoning symptoms and were rushed to Quang Tri Province General Hospital for emergency treatment. 

Doctors said they suffered from respiration failure and serious bleeding. 

One of them died right away.
